Denver Barters DIY Free Community Grocery Store

WHAT TO BRING: literally any and all food you want to trade/giveaway/sell for donations!!! Gardening supplies, clean reusable containers, baby products, pet products, whatever! Selling only for folx that grow their own foods/have chickens/etc.

Stitch ‘n’ Bitch

  • Sundays: July 20th, August 10th, September 21st

  • July & August: 6pm - 9pm; September: 2-5pm 

A craft night get together with a focus on mending clothing and community conversations in collaboration with Artists In Sync. We're going to be in the garage with the doors open for cross-breeze, but be advised there is no AC. Please enter through the house to get your name-tag and ticket. Materials provided for visible mending projects and sewing/embroidery/cross stitch projects.

RSVP ahead of time by getting a ticket here, sending @suprsaturatd $5 to $15 on venmo, or bring cash to the event. If you have usable craft supplies you want to be rid of, especially sewing supplies, please bring them to share or swap! Any remaining supplies will be donated or used for future events.

Darn It!

I’m extremely pleased and honored to be offering a mending workshop at ReCreative! On the last Wednesday of every month from 6 - 8 pm, we’ll be tackling mending projects you bring in and learning skills that’ll help you for the rest of your life. Ticket includes some materials for visible mending projects and sewing/embroidery/cross stitch projects (needles, thread, scrap cloth, etc.). Other supplies and notions will be available for purchase from ReCreative during the class period. Reserve a spot here!

  • 6:00 - 6:30: diagnoses and material gathering
  • 6:30 - 8:00: workshopping mends and discussion of skills needed
