Zine Zone Meetup

On the second Saturday of every month, meet up with other zine enthusiasts in the cafeteria at Edgewater Public Market! Bring your zine WIPs and supplies, just yourself or maybe a friend too!Join the Discord server here.

Earth Day Sustainability Fair

I’m happy to be working with Climate Fairplay to put on a mending workshop (and textile art booth <3) at the 4/20 Earth Day Sustainability Fair! We’ll have clothing resale and upcyclers, composting, zero waste artisans, and other sustainable endeavors based in Denver for you to check out and support. Bring something to mend and a love for the planet :)

Denver Barters DIY Free Community Grocery Store

WHAT TO BRING: literally any and all food you want to trade/giveaway/sell for donations!!! Gardening supplies, clean reusable containers, baby products, pet products, whatever! Selling only for folx that grow their own foods/have chickens/etc.

Stitch ‘n’ Bitch

  • Sundays April 13th, May 11th, NO JUNE MEET,

  • 4PM - 7 PM

A craft night get together with a focus on mending clothing and community conversations in collaboration with Artists In Sync. We're going to be in the heated garage, which has stayed pretty warm this winter. Please enter through the house to get your nametag and ticket. Materials provided for visible mending projects and sewing/embroidery/cross stitch projects.

RSVP ahead of time by getting a ticket here, sending @suprsaturatd $5 to $15 on venmo, or bring cash to the event. If you have usable craft supplies you want to be rid of, especially sewing supplies, please bring them to swap! Any remaining supplies will be donated or used for future events.

Darn It!

I’m extremely pleased and honored to be offering a mending workshop at ReCreative starting in March! On the last Wednesday of every month from 6 - 8 pm, we’ll be tackling mending projects you bring in and learning skills that’ll help you for the rest of your life. Ticket includes some materials for visible mending projects and sewing/embroidery/cross stitch projects (needles, thread, scrap cloth, etc.). Other supplies and notions will be available for purchase from ReCreative during the class period. Reserve a spot here!

  • 6:00 - 6:30: diagnoses and material gathering
  • 6:30 - 8:00: workshopping mends and discussion of skills needed
