Denver Barters DIY Free Community Grocery Store

WHAT TO BRING: literally any and all food you want to trade/giveaway/sell for donations!!! Gardening supplies, clean reusable containers, baby products, pet products, whatever! Selling only for folx that grow their own foods/have chickens/etc.
Stitch ‘n’ Bitch

A craft night get together with a focus on mending clothing and community conversations in collaboration with Artists In Sync. When the weather is hot, we open all the garage doors for a cross-breeze, but do not have AC. There is heating during the winter. Please enter through the house to get your name-tag and ticket. Materials provided for visible mending projects and sewing/embroidery/cross stitch projects. See the main Stitch n Bitch page for accessibility info.
RSVP ahead of time by getting a ticket here, sending @suprsaturatd $5 to $15 on venmo, or bring cash or card or venmo to the event. If you have usable craft supplies you want to be rid of, especially sewing supplies, please bring them to share or swap! Donations accepted in lieu of ticket purchase. NOTAFLOF event - No One Turned Away For Lack Of Funds.

I’m extremely pleased and honored to be offering a mending workshop at ReCreative! On the last Wednesday of every month from 6 - 8 pm, we’ll be tackling mending projects you bring in and learning skills that’ll help you for the rest of your life. Ticket includes some materials for visible mending projects and sewing/embroidery/cross stitch projects (needles, thread, scrap cloth, etc.). Other supplies and notions will be available for purchase from ReCreative during the class period. Reserve a spot here!
- 6:00 - 6:30: diagnoses and material gathering
- 6:30 - 8:00: workshopping mends and discussion of skills needed

Morningstar Darkling and Manos Sagrados are partnering to bring you the all kings drag show you’ve been waiting for! Come celebrate kings and cocktails for our first edition of Strap House! Grab a delicious alcoholic or non alcoholic cocktail mixed by your favorite bartender while enjoying Denver’s finest stallions! Make sure to bring cash to tip the performers and staff on hand!

Denver Zine Fest

Come get your zines!! A zine (short for magazine) is a small, usually handmade booklet! The most common size is an 8-page booklet folded from an 8.5x11 sheet of paper, but you'll find all shapes and sizes of zines here. Many people will trade zines for zines; others accept payment; still others might just give you their art! Strike up a conversation, learn something new, and get a bite-sized piece of art.
Market in the Parket: City Park Takeover!

September is the second anniversary of Market in the Parket, and to celebrate, we're popping up in City Park! That’s right, the same place that our fair city hosts City Park Jazz will welcome as many local small businesses as we can fit in and around the place. We’re talking food trucks, fashion trucks, live music, DJs…if we can dream it up, it’ll be there on September 21. Come back and see your favorite vendors and have another amazing day in the park!!
