Casual Punk Mending Meets
Trying to make your clothes last longer? Got an intimidating mending pile? Want to craft with people?
Come on out to the Stitch ‘n’ Bitch, a monthly community crafting get-together! A recurring event, every second Sunday. Will usually be at the Hadley Branch of the Denver Public Library unless otherwise noted.
What’s a Stitch ‘n’ Bitch?
I’m glad you asked! This particular Stitch ‘n’ Bitch is a monthly sewing meetup at the Hadley Library (at the intersection of Grove and Jewell) focused on mending and repairing clothing - but you’re free to bring any craft and hang! Bring your clothes and textiles that need mending, and we’ll workshop a solution and make it right there! We provide scrap fabric, sewing thread, needles, scissors, embroidery floss, some hand-printed patches, and other supplies you can use to mend your clothes. If you have art or craft supplies you want to be rid of, please bring them to swap! Any left over will be donated or used for future SNBs.
Masks required and provided!

Teen Vogue Article Feature!
I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to talk about my lil sewing meetups with Brittney McNamara of Teen Vogue, and why I think they’re really important political action!! There’s a lot more cool history of textile art protest and other activist-creators featured here, so please give it a read!
Thanks, Westword!
I’m delighted to say that the Stitch ‘n’ Bitch has been featured on Denver Westword’s Best of 2025 as the Best Visible Mending Workshop?! That’s really cool!! Thank you!!!
